Meet the Cast
of The
Odd Couple
Cassidy Brown (Felix Ungar) is happy to be
performing in his ninth show at the Willows, where he has also been seen in
Noises Off; Deathtrap; Treasure Island; You Can’t
Take It With You; Teahouse of the August Moon; Jackie;
Look Homeward, Angel; To Kill a Mockingbird; and My Sister,
Eileen. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting/Directing from the University of
Missouri at Kansas City and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Sonoma State
University. Cassidy is also the Casting Director for the Willows Theatre
and Director of Youth Programs for the Willows Theatre Conservatory, where
he recently directed Batboy: The Musical and the East Bay premiere of
Urinetown. Other acting credits include appearances with Shotgun
Players (Meyerhold in The Death of Meyerhold, for which he won a Dean
Goodman Choice Award; Boris Annenkhov in The Just; and Clifford
Bradshaw in Cabaret); Porchlight Theatre (A Month in the Country);
The Missouri Rep (Julius Caesar, A Christmas Carol); and the
S.F. Fringe Festival; as well as locally, nationally and internationally
with The Traveling Lantern Theater Company. Cassidy is also a founding
member of the improvisational comedy troupe The Original Action Pack and a
current member of the Improv Revolution Allstars. He is a member of the San
Francisco Improv Cooperative, a member of the Theater Services Committee for
Theatre Bay Area, and a company member of Shotgun Players.
Christopher Hayes (Oscar Madison) has been most
recently involved in the production of Papa at the Eureka Theatre in
San Francisco, where he served as executive producer, an exciting and
drastic change from the role of an actor. He has also been seen recently at
Sierra Repertory in Charley’s Aunt and in an east coast performance
of Joe and Betty. Some of his favorite roles include Jean Paul
Sartre; Claudius; and Pompey in Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure,
where in an L.A. performance he met his wife Anya, who is now expecting
their first child. You may also have caught Chris in some new UPN ads, old
ABC spots, or voicing various Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and Home Depot products.
Chris’s favorite performing outlet is the Improv Revolution Allstars, an
improvisational group that performs regionally, sometimes nationally, and
almost always in San Francisco.
