Since the creation of the musical Nunsense, author Dan Goggin has been saving the various bits and pieces of memorabilia that have come into his possession while spending 20 years frolicking with the Little Sisters of Hoboken.

It shouldn’t come as a shock to learn that a show which has spawned five sequels and been translated into multiple languages might have generated some hilarious and captivating artifacts along the way.

Many of these unique articles are now on display to the public at the Campbell Theatre in Martinez, the new home of Nunsense and the Nunsense Museum.

The Campbell Theatre’s spiral staircase is home to the “Nun Hall of Fame” and features headshots of the many diverse stars who have become members of the Nunsense family over the years. If you move to the lobby, you’ll discover three mannequin “sisters,” similar to those who began the Nunsense greeting card phenomenon, all dressed in different habits, depending on which order they call home.

The lobby also includes display cases with many unique items and the walls are full of posters from across the globe. You’ll even find an autographed photo from Elizabeth Taylor.

And as you move into the theater to take your seats, check out the unique quilt made from a variety of Nunsense sweatshirts. On the “Nun Alumni Wall,” you’ll find Sisters hailing from Martinez to Germany.

So the next time you come see the Nuns make sure to take a look around. It’s habit forming!
