Meet the Cast of ‘Nunsensations!’

Deborah Del Mastro (Sister Robert Anne) most recently appeared in the television special Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue.  Prior to that, she originated the part of Sister Robert Anne in the World Premiere of the showShe toured with the 20th Anniversary All-Star Tour of Nunsense with Kaye Ballard, Georgia Engel, Lee Meriwether, Darlene Love, and Mimi Hines.  Deborah also originated the role of Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense 3: The Jamboree; Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical; and Meshuggah-Nuns: The Ecumenical Nunsense.  She toured/filmed Nunsense Jamboree and Nuncrackers and can be heard on four of the cast recordings.  Other credits include: Always, Patsy Cline, and Forbidden Broadway.  Her favorite role is Mom to Sarah and Jack. Susan Goeppinger (Reverend Mother Mary Regina) began her career in New York.  Her Broadway credits include La Strada and Georgie.  She toured nationally with Half a Sixpence and Fiddler on the Roof.  After moving to Minnesota, she appeared in many productions at the Chanhassen Theatres – most notably the 22-year run of I Do! I Do! with husband David Anders -- and originated the role of Sister Wilhelm in Nunsense Jamboree.  She followed that with Nuncrackers, Nunsense II as Sister Hubert and Nunsensations as Reverend Mother.  She now resides in Arizona and has appeared at the Phoenix Theatre in Into the Woods and Something's Afoot.  She is proud of son Kris, a doctoral candidate in classical guitar at Florida State, and daughter Erin and new son-in-law Ben, both actors and directors in Minnesota.

Bambi Jones (Sister Mary Hubert) recently appeared as Muzzy Van Hossmere in Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Flat Rock Playhouse in North Carolina.  Some of Bambi’s other stage credits include the London West End premiere of Show Boat; the Off-Broadway production of Menopause: The Musical, where she played Power Woman; as well as performances throughout the U.S. in And the World Goes 'Round, Beehive, Little Shop of Horrors, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Nunsense, and the world premiere of Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?-The Musical.  Bambi and the cast can be heard on the original cast recording of Nunsensations!

Carrie Keskinen (Sister Mary Leo) most recently appeared in the television special Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue after creating the role of Sister Leo in the World Premiere of the show at the Chanhassen Theatre in Minneapolis. The premiere was followed by a run at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, the Downtown Cabaret in Connecticut, and the Drury Lane in Chicago.  She performed with Georgia Engel in the national tour of Nunsense 3: The Jamboree and with Rue McClanahan in the television production of Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical.  She has appeared in countless productions of Nunsense throughout the country.  In New York, she recently performed in Rip Cord at the Ontological Theatre Company’s Downstairs Series and has originated many roles with the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.  Favorite credits include: The Secret Garden (Martha) and Carousel (Carrie Pipperidge). Carrie is very excited to be returning to the Willows, where she appeared in her very first productions of Nunsense, Nunsense II, and Nunsense Jamboree, as well as productions of Smoke on the Mountain, Goblin Market, and Dames at Sea.

Jeanne Tinker (Sister Amnesia) is very excited to be back at the Willows Theatre.  She grew up in New Hampshire, attended Emerson College in Boston, moved to New York City, then to San Francisco, and then landed back in New York -- all the while performing hither and yon!  She can be heard singing backup vocals on Scott Wakefield’s CD, available at www.scottwakefield.com.  Jeanne is looking forward to the run of Nunsensations!
