CAROLINE ALTMAN*
(Nelda Lightfoot/Patsy Price) is happy to make her Willows debut.
Recent credits include Emma in Emma, the Musical (San Francisco),
Queen Anne in the musical workshop of The Man in the Iron Mask (New
York), and Penelope in The Golden Apple at 42nd Street
Moon. Locally, she has performed with Cal Shakes, S.F. Opera, Woodminster,
Playhouse West, and Oakland Opera Theatre. Favorites include the title
roles in Nymph Errant and Fanny, Hayyah in Ghetto,
Jenny in Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters, and Fiona in Brigadoon.
She is currently co-artistic director of The Wicked Stage Theatre, and
serves as director of education for the S.F. Opera Guild and director of
family programming for 42nd Street Moon. In addition to being an
accomplished director/choreographer, she has composed four musicals for
young audiences and received a Shellie award for Contribution to the
Performing Arts and a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award for Best Actress
in a Musical (Whispers on the Wind, 2003).
KATIE ANDERSON
(Tina Jo Dubberly/Gina Jo Dubberly) is thrilled to join the Willows
Theatre again after performing as Poppy in last season's Noises Off.
Some of her recent roles include Ophelia in Hamlet at Calaveras Rep,
Rosie Pye in Humble Boy at the Dragon Theatre, and Emily Cratchitt
and the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Twist at City Lights
Theatre in San Jose. She studied acting at Loyola University New Orleans
and has a B.A. in English from Nicholls State University in Louisiana.
DIANA BOOS
(Twink Futrelle) is very excited to be returning to the Willows. Last
year, she appeared in The Odd Couple. Other Bay Area credits
include: A Christmas Carol and The Women (Center Rep),
Richard III (Woman’s Will), Playboy of the Western World
(Cinnabar Theater), Oklahoma! (N.D.N.U), and Julius Caesar
(San Leandro Players). Regional credits include: The Seagull, A
Christmas Carol and Playboy/Western World at Milwaukee Repertory
Theatre; Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, and Macbeth at
Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival; Orpheus Descending and Sadie and
Bib at The Artistic Home (Chicago); Long Day’s Journey Into
One-Act and Charlie and the Fiction Factory with Free Associates
(Chicago); and Sweet Land of Liberty at Theatre Q (Chicago). She
holds a B.F.A. in Theater and has studied in London at the Royal National
Theater. She is a proud member of Theater Bay Area.
DARCY BROWN-MARTIN*
(Frankie Futrelle Dubberly) appeared most recently as Helga in M.
Butterfly at TheatreWorks. Other Bay Area credits include No Exit
(Ines) with Cutting Ball Theatre and Things You Shouldn’t Say Past
Midnight (Grace) with Theatre Q. In New York, Darcy appeared in
Loose Ends and Cowboy in His Underwear at INTAR, The Rain
Always Falls at Theater for the New City, and Arms and the Man at
the Westside Repertory Theatre. She originated the role of Meg in
Theatreworks USA’s production of Little Women. She is a graduate of
Brown University.
BRIAN LEVY
(Wiley Hicks) – graduated from Washington University in St. Louis
with degrees in dance and drama. He then spent 12 years dancing
professionally in New York City and Minneapolis, working with a wide
spectrum of companies, ranging from Nikolais/Louis to Elizabeth Streb/Ringside
to Ballet of the Dolls. Brian is now pursuing his acting career in the Bay
Area both in theater and film. Among other roles, he has been seen as Nils
Krogstad in A Doll's House (Collegiate Players), Benjamin Cohen in
The Underpants (Actor's Theater), and Catesby in Richard III
(Subterranean Shakespeare). He most recently appeared as Lyle in Farm
Boys at New Conservatory Theater and on film in David
Janssen's Buyout as Frank.
NIKOLAI LOKTEFF
(John Curtis Buntner) is an actor and singer who has been performing
in the Bay Area since 1995. Credits include: Ragnarok, Doom of the Gods
(Shotgun Players); As You Like It and The Mission of Jane
(Valley Shakespeare Festival); Richard III (Shakespeare at Stinson);
Our Town (u/s, Berkeley Rep); She Loves Me (Napa Valley Rep);
Hamlet and Cyrano de Bergerac (Marin Shakespeare Festival);
Promises, Promises (Pacific Alliance Stage Co.); and The Lion in
Winter (Northside Theater Co.). Nikolai has studied with the Moscow Art
Theatre in Cambridge, MA, and Studio ACT in San Francisco. This is his
first appearance with the Willows.
LORRAINE OLSEN
(Honey Rae Futrelle) – is happy to return to the Willows stage, where
she was last seen in Funny Girl. Lorraine has subsequently worked at
S.F. Playhouse, Berkeley Rep, and Eastenders Repertory. Favorite roles
include Agnes Gooch in Auntie Mame (Willows), May in Fool for Love,
Linda Rotunda in Savage in Limbo, Joanne in Come Back to the Five
& Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Christine in Kissing Christine,
and Bella in Lost in Yonkers. Along with her husband, Val
Hendrickson, she co-founded Theatre Valentine and helped to produce and act
in 10 shows, including The Person I Once Was, for which they won a
Best of Fringe award at the S.F. Fringe Festival.
RYAN TASKER
(Justin Waverly) is pleased to be making his Willows debut. He most
recently appeared as Olan in The Forest War with Shotgun Players. A
Southern California native, he has had the good fortune to work with Dragon
Productions, the S.F. Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Q, TheatreWorks, and The
Western Stage since moving to the Bay Area. Ryan has trained with the
Atlantic Theatre Company, Shakespeare & Company, and at California State
University-Fullerton.
MARGARET TAYLOR
(Geneva Musgrave) – is delighted to appear in her second Jessie Jones
play at the Willows. A San Francisco native, she was first directed by Rich
Elliott in a previous century at Ross Valley Players. She studied theatre
at the University of Southern California with John Blankenchip and has
appeared in summer repertory at Fallon House Theatre in Columbia, CA, and
for two seasons on the Fringe of the Edinburgh International Festival in
Scotland. Favorite roles include: Helga Ten Dorp in Deathtrap, Mrs.
Boyle in Mousetrap, and Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit (Ross
Valley Players); Lady Tremurrain in Whodunnit (RVP and Willows);
Marguerite in Dearly Departed (Willows); and Nurse Ratched in One
Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, American Beauty Rose in Pal Joey,
and Maggie in The Shadow Box (Festival Theatre USC/USA).
MICHAEL RAY WISELY*
(Dub Dubberly) is pleased to return to the Willows for Dearly
Beloved. His other performances with us include: Chet in Over the
Tavern, Capt. Smollet in Treasure Island, Sheriff Dodd in The
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Dillard in Foxfire. Most
recently, he appeared at Aurora Theatre Co. as McCann in The Birthday
Party. Other local credits include: The Sweetest Swing in Baseball
(Magic Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Center Rep), Fugitive Kind
(Marin Theatre Co.), On the 20th Century (American Musical
Theatre), The Tempest (S.F. Shakespeare Festival), and Desire
Under the Elms (San Jose Rep), as well as performing for San Jose Stage,
Pacific Alliance, Shotgun Players, and others. Michael Ray has
guest-starred in film, television movies, and series and currently has a
show (Home Transformations) running on the DIY Network. When
not acting, he also works as an independent producer, director, and writer.
He lives in Richmond with his wife Wendy and daughter Olivia.
