The Willows Theatre Company presents the smash Off-Broadway hit Altar
Boyz April 7-May 11 at the Campbell Theatre, 636 Ward Street in
Martinez, CA. The Campbell Theatre is the Willows’ new theatre in downtown
Martinez - a true cabaret setting with tableside service. Full of sharp
parody, spectacular dance moves, and irreverent gags, Altar Boyz is a
laugh-out-loud spoof adored by fans and critics alike. “Finally, an
off-Broadway musical that actually works,” says The New York Times.
Deliciously satirical songs “convincing enough to be played on MTV” keep up
the “crowd-pleasing, infectious energy.” This award winner is sure to have
the whole family guffawing and singing along. The show's music and lyrics
are by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila
based on an idea by Ken Davenport and Marc Kessler. Five small-town boys –
Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan, and Abraham – make it big in Altar Boyz at
the Willows Cabaret in Martinez, April 7-May 11.
