'John Muir's Mountain Days'
2005 Production

For 2005, John Muir's Mountain Days returned to the John Muir Amphitheater as part of the John Muir Summer Festival, which also included a Fourth of July concert with the Diablo Symphony Orchestra (featuring the premiere of "Suite from Sacagawea" by Mountain Days composer Craig Bohmler and playwright Mary Bracken Phillips) and a production of The Sound of Music.  Many of the performers did double duty: Lee Strawn starred as both Old John Muir and Capt. von Trapp; Jon Marshall played both Young John Muir and Herr Zeller; and Marsha Mercant portrayed Louie Strentzel Muir and Maria von Trapp.
