The Willows Theatre Company is a non-profit professional
theatre company that develops and produces contemporary American plays and
musicals. Quality live theatre provides an emotional outlet for a
community’s need to gather and reflect, and the goal of the Willows Theatre
Company is to ensure that the art of live theatre is accessible and relevant
to the audience of the San Francisco East Bay Area.
Without your help we can not accomplish our mission. As
you have heard, ticket sales only provide 60% of our operating budget. State
support of local theatres has virtually disappeared. Even reaching our
operating budget does not provide for future growth and development. It is
the support we receive beyond ticket sales that enables the Willows Theatre
to consistently produce award winning plays and musicals that garner
critical acclaim and entertain you - our audience.
