Teens (14 - 19 years old)

ACTING
-
Acting technique, scene study,
and character development culminating in a presentation of
monologues and scenes. The focus is on truthful
behavior, believable characters, and on-stage spontaneity.
Students work at their own level, making this class perfect
for the beginner as well as the seasoned performer.

Saturdays, 12:00 to 2:00.

IMPROVISATION
-
The art of spontaneous
theater with a focus on the three rules of
improvisation; be spontaneous, always make your partner
look good, and always build upon your partner's idea.
Improvisation is essential training for both actors and
improvisors. No previous improv experience
required. Culminates in a performance of
improvised comedy sketches. Instructor: Kenn
Adams Fridays,
4:00 to 6:00. Cost:$250

THEATER

Become a Triple Threat, a
performer who can sing, dance and act! Instruction in scene
work, theater songs, and theater dance. Culminates in a
presentation of solo and ensemble numbers. Instructor: TBA Saturdays, 4:00 to 6:00 Cost: $250
Pre-Teens (11 - 13 years old)

Acting technique, character creation, and
scene work. Strong focus on the ensemble through
improvisational games and exercises. Culminates in a
presentation of improvisational exercises and scene work.

An introduction to acting
skills through story dramatization, theater exercises and
improvisations designed to expand the
imagination and to increase concentration and
self-confidence. Culminates in a presentation of skits and
character work.
