Mr. Holtz holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and studied music theory and composition at The Juilliard School. He served as Development Director for the Willows Theatre from 1987 to 1990 and served as its Managing Director from 1990 until 2007. Previously, Mr. Holtz was Business Manager for the Eureka Theatre and was a Management Consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co. An accomplished musician, he has done the direction and musical direction for numerous Willows productions and is a three-time recipient of the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Musical Direction. Mr. Holtz was very involved in Theatre Bay Area and also served as a marketing mentor for the National Arts Marketing Project of the Arts and Business Council, Inc.  He currently serves as Director of Finance for the Arizona Theatre Company.
