Bill retired from IBM Sales in 1987 to become VP of Sales and Marketing at Solectron, and was later named Solectron's executive-in-residence at Santa Clara University. He co-founded Round Hill Securities; TechSynergy, a high-tech partnering company; and BackWhen, a senior web site company. Bill earned his BSEE at Penn State and completed graduate work at Harvard and University of Texas. He is Past President of Sales and Marketing Executives International, based and founded in San Francisco. Additionally, he is active in various capacities at Penn State, San Jose State, and Thiel College.
